Dr. Lin Chen joined Valdosta State University (VSU) Fall 2019. Prior to that, he was teaching at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) from 2016 to 2019. Before switching back to academia, he was a senior software engineer at SAIC and computer scientist at NASA Langley Research Center. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Old Dominion University, M.S. in Physical Chemistry at New Mexico State University.
